Several times now I have made candles and have done well. One thing this book did lack was knowing more about which wicks to use. This is something I will have to figure out on my own as there are a few different types of wicks for different types and sizes of candles.
Still, the book was great and I'd still recommend it.

This book provides a good starting point for someone that is just starting out. Great step by step break down of how to make candles. There's a good problem shooting section at the end, and the safety section is great.
The book is great. It gives easy and smoke ways to candles.
This book is simplistic and informative. Very easy to follow. The author has a vast knowledge of candle making and shares it with all who will read this book. She makes this craft easy.

It was good in what it contains but I need a novice edition. One with complete listing of what one needs to do candles.

It has been years since I've made candles and I wanted to review the process before just diving in again. For such an old craft, there are many new tools. The book is great for beginners as it describes the different kinds of waxes, and gives general information one needs to know before starting such a project. It even provided links to some YouTube clips.
